Role: Quality Auditor
Reports to: Information Security Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Quality Auditor is to ensure compliance with customer standards and address the multiple customer requests that are currently fulfilled by operations engineers and management. This role will also assist in interfacing with auditors from public accounting firms and customer internal control teams. In addition this role will also be responsible for assisting in gathering documentation for the ISO Audit. This person should have familiarity with quality auditing and compliance standards such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001/2 and laws such as SOX, HIPAA, and GLBA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in the completion of internal audits on process, procedures and work instructions.
- Assists in the completion of documenting process, procedures and work instructions that are in scope.
- Objectively review an organization’s business practices.
- Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statutes.
- Assist with external information security assessments for frameworks such as ISO27001 and COBIT.
- Assist with internal information security assessments for frameworks such as ISO27001 and COBIT.
- Assists with planning of audit engagements.
- Improves customer audit experience by providing timely and accurate information.
- Provides customized quarterly audit reports for customers with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and champion automated tools or scripts to remove operations resources from audit activities so they can focus on their core engineering responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a 4 year degree and experience in auditing a mature quality management system.
- Familiarity with standards and laws such as ISO 27001, SOX, GLBA, and HIPAA
- Security or audit certification (CISSP, GSEC, CISA) preferred.
- Archer eGRC experience preferred.
